Typically we will meet you at your property to discuss the project and review what level of service you require. This is to gain a clear understanding of your requirements at this stage so that our proposals best reflect your aspirations and needs. Our discussions at this initial visit form the basis of the Project Brief, which details the extent of the project and will be set out in a letter for your agreement. Our services will be conducted on the basis of this document.

Measured Survey & Sketch Scheme
To enable us to prepare drawings of your proposals, it is normally necessary to have drawings of the existing building, so we will carry out a basic measured survey and produce these first. For larger or more complex properties we may suggest that you commission a survey from a professional building surveyor.
Sketch scheme drawings form the foundation of your project and are developed from the drawings of the existing building (where applicable). They typically include plans and elevations and are used as the basis for design discussions and developing your proposals. The drawings can be used at this stage to provide budget cost forecasts, or as a basis for preliminary discussions with builders if required.
